To publish a death notice, simply ask your funeral director to do so. All licensed funeral directors in Ireland have secure access to our partner site, RIP.ie, and can publish notices on behalf of the bereaved family.
If the funeral is taking place outside of Ireland, the family can contact RIP.ie directly. RIP.ie will liaise with the overseas funeral director to verify the details. Acceptable forms of verification may include:
- A copy of the death or cremation certificate
- A link to the obituary on the foreign funeral director’s website
- An email confirmation from the overseas funeral director

- The deceased’s surname
- County or town
- A date range
